Market leading manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions require an experienced Business Development Manager to penetrate further into the UK and European Market. This is a sophisticated corporate sales role where you will be tasked with winning contracts in excess of £1M each and is suitable for an individual with extensive experience of winning £multi million packaging contracts at the most senior levels. The company are a global top 10 packaging manufacturer with in excess of 20 manufacturing plants worldwide
You will have full access to all of the company's existing accounts which include major retailers, major food manufacturers, all of the major fast food brands and other major corporate clients. Using these contacts as referral points and as leverage to win new business within existing accounts you will be a consummate sales professional that ideally has pan European business development experience. A European language such as French, German or Spanish would be useful but is not a prerequisite.
To apply you will be of graduate calibre with extensive business development and account management skills within the packaging industry, ideally with experience of winning bespoke packaging contracts. In addition you will be well presented with excellent verbal and written communication skills and extensive experience e in winning business through complex bids and tender processes.
The role reports directly into the European Sales and Marketing Director and as such you will have board level contact and significant input into the direction of European sales.
