Upto £22,000 Basic Salary plus bonus
Highly successful wholesaler of products into various specialist trades requires a proactive retail sales professional to look after their client base across Surrey and South West London. This is an unusual retail sales role that is business-to-business focussed and ideal for someone that for instance has worked in a builder's merchant, electrical wholesaler, IT reseller, engineering distributor, etc. The role includes managing local business accounts through telephone contact together with managing face-to-face trade. The role does require working every other Saturday.
Whilst this is a retail based sales role it is a B2B sale that is highly varied, targeted and autonomous. The role involves effective account management by introducing new products to existing accounts and will involve meeting clients at their premises as well as handling all enquiries within the store environment.
You will be a practical, hands-on individual with good commercial acumen and an ability to proactively develop business.
To succeed you will be a confident and articulate individual that is able to build strong rapport and have a professional approach to selling. With proactive retail sales, direct sales or B2B sales experience you must be a consummate professional that is target driven. You must have a wide range of sales techniques, ideally having received structured sales training.
